Inside every man is a little boy who wants to play.

Visitors at Rail Fest will have the opportunity to see the big boys, the mighty engines of the Union Pacific Railroad. But at the National Guard Armory, model train enthusiasts will be setting up model train displays.

Over 10,000 square feet has been set aside for model railroad clubs from Nebraska, Colorado and Kansas. The central model train display by the Platte Valley Pacific Model Railroad Club will feature more than 60 U.P. engines and more than 100 cars. The exhibit is open to the public. Space for up to 80 ‘Vendor’ tables will be available  for those hoping to start their own model railroad or to add to their collection.
