The West Central District Health Department (WCDHD) is planning to be very active during Rail Fest 2012. Some of the activities they are planning include:

• 1st aid station
• Hand washing
• Running the movie: Contagion
• Flu vaccines
• Vital sign station (Blood pressure checks, heart rate)
• Cots for possible heat exhaustion
• Cooler for water and Gatorade
• Shelter in Place kits (with use of LincUp brochure)
• Emergency Preparedness Kits on display
• Hand outs and education tips
• Tours of the West Central Smile mobile Dental Unit (A look at the 2012 Tooth Tour)
• West Central Medical Reserve Corp volunteer recruitment (WCMRC)
